The St Paul YPD is under the excellent and dynamic leadership of Sister Jacqueline Tukes.  She organizes Vacation Bible School and educational field trips with a focus on loving and serving the Lord!

The Young People's Division is a youth organization established as a Christian Education agency of the A.M.E. Church to facilitate the Christian development of youth.  Established in 1915, it is under the auspice of the Women's Missionary Society.

Purpose:

1.  To provide meaningful youth training programs in all areas of church life which will provide for full participation in the total mission of the church.
2.  To provide specific training in Evangelism, Christian Social Relations and Educational programs designed to increase knowledge of the A.M.E. Church and the Scriptures.

3.  To provide opportunities for leadership experience.

Colors:

The colors shall be forest green and white or black and white.  Green is symbolic of growth and Christian vitality; white represents purity, light, and faith and black is symbolic of the strength of our African heritage.
